Joshua Carroll Fund PledgePage

Josh is a little bit Tennessee and a little bit Wisconsin. His mother Lorrie is always saying that there is a fight over the t.v. when the Green Bay Packers and the Tennessee Titans are playing at the same time, Josh loves the Packers as much as the Titans. Josh at 6 months old was one of the first babies to have a liver transplant at the UW Hospital; in fact Josh had 3 liver transplants within 10 days. Josh along with his two sister moved to Wisconsin when Josh was 3 because Josh had additional leg surgeries, they stayed in Wisconsin for two years and when Josh was well moved back to Tennessee. Josh is now 15 years old and is in need of another liver transplant, his mother called and said that Josh would be coming again to Wisconsin for his transplant, but they got the bad news the Josh’s TENN Care would not pay for a transplant in Wisconsin. TENN Care would only pay for his transplant if he went to a provider that TENN Care had a contract with, so Josh is on the waiting list in Cincinnati Ohio.

Because of Josh’s current health his mother Lorrie who is a nurse is at home taking care of Josh and has not been able to work for the past 3 months, she is a single parent and this has devastated them financially. We have setup an account for donations at the UW Employees Credit Union, please make any checks out to the UW Employee Credit Union and include the account number #7923 (UW Credit Union #7923) and in the memo area write Josh Carroll. Mail checks to UW Employee Credit Union, 1101 Spring Street, Madison, WI 53715

Any amount you can give would greatly help Josh and his family. When you have a sick child it is so stressful, we can’t imagine worrying how you are going to pay your monthly housing bills too.
